Cowboy Chucks Coffee Cup!

Chucks coffee this week was brought to us by Susan. Cliff Hanger Expresso by Kicking Horse, Chuck says..."very strong bold aroma and the beans taste good while waiting to perk he ate some beans and it's a waker upper for sure". As I watch him run out outside...LOL.
Will blog about my weekened when I get home as we are off to look at a wagon. We have the harness, the horses now we need the wagon! On the weekend we had a suprise stagette for Brenda but she was at her clinic and we decided to go ahead with it anyway and called it the "planning stagette party...". I have a ton of pictures and it was a whole lot of fun....will blog when I get home!

W2 Wednesday Wine Tasting...

What a great day....I rode alot of horses and rode my last horse right into the night. Sorry for the late wine tasting....smile. Back to the last ride, as it was quite late I rode my half wild horse, half paint. He navigated really good but his biggest issue was the darn gate. smile. I snapped some pics of the sun going down as it was amazing but not as amazing as all the stars tonight. Okay....on with the wine. I picked this up from a young fellar and thought it would suck but it is awesome. The name is Erben Pinot-Noir from Germany. The word Excellent comes to mind, its suprisingly a GREAT wine....as I have found German wines are too sweet. This is a wine you should try....I am very impressed! Chat to you tommorow....night all!

Wild Deuce is in Candian Horse Journal March/April issue..

Go out and grab this magazine and check our article....

We continue the pretend March walk to Lone Horse Camp...

This is my crew that helps me keep walking along with all of you! You know the dogs never do get tired but I sure enjoy their company each day. I walked 24 miles to date, Susan is at 12km, Wrangler Scott has no comment, Chef Rachel thinks she has won because she lost her truck in the Wallmart parking lot and figures she has soooo won just finding her truck. (smile) Just called Brenda and she doesn't know her talley yet because she was just walking the 1.5km to her horses tonight! My body took two days off because of all the walking. My brain understands but my body says "Terri its still spring...can't we just chill out till the seasons starts?". My response to my body is..."No, the older you get the more you hold on to the weight...suck it up!" It's a constant battle between the body and the mind...smile! Keep walking folks....we are all feeling the same and the prize is soooo worth it!

Dawn goes curling for the 1st Time!

Well done Dawn, from horse back to curling. Nice form....oh I really have no idea as I have never done the curling thing YET! Dawn did comment "how much she enjoyed it and how she wants to do it again..." Thanks for the pics Dawn.

Chucks new harness!

We headed to a farm by Sylvan Lake where we met cliff who was a very active 79 year old who new alot of bush folks we know. He was very nice and we met his horses, seen his wagons and found out him and his buddies go on wagon rides each Sunday. They travel around 25 miles.... Chuck is very excited to get the harness on some horses!
