Roundpenning Clinic

The weather man cooperated and it was HOT for the Roundpenning Clinic on Saturday. All the spectators agreed, the clinic was awesome. We saw Terri & Brenda work with 4 different horses and learned that Roundpenning is not just about chasing them around until they're tired and I can get on now! LOL! The girls demonstrated how they teach the process of TRUST & RESPECT with each of the horses. I'm confident that I can take my horse, that I haven't been on for a year, back to the basics that he knows, and SAFELY get back on him to start riding. Looks like I'll be seeing you on the trail this week!

We are all moved in and enjoying being back!

There was just enough sun to get everything parked and put away. We did it in record time as we are busy busy training horses. Terri is getting better every day and its so nice to be out riding here in God's country. Its so quiet and the horses sure have gotten a taste of mountain reality. Its pouring rain and we needed to wash clothes so we are in town today. Tex and Poko arrive tommorow, they are in the sale and we are going to be using them all summer. If I can't blog, we will call Lillian to post for us as we want to keep everyone updated on us! Talk to you soon...
