Cowboy Chucks Coffee

Chuck's coffee this morning, I brought home from Banff. In Banff there is four Evelyn's and I enjoyed this very full flavour coffee, so bought some beans and brought them home!

Chuck was excited because it wasn't flavored coffee and we have a hit! He loved how the flavor...he is enjoying his 2nd cup!

If in Banff...this coffee is worth buying makes some excellent cowboy coffee!

It is defiantly a malbec in the coffee world!

Okay...so here is how the coffee tasting went today! Not as planned but hey what is?

When Chuck got home from work last night he asked "was that flavored coffee you gave me this morning?" He also didn't have a smile. I started laughing...

I had made a cup of new coffee for this week, then made him his coffee for Sunday with only giving the coffee pot a rinse. So there was still my coffee in the pot..

The coffee is from my sister in law and is Frangelico and I LOVE IT! I love the smell of it when it is brewing and it is a really nice flavor. Chuck passed on it before he even knew it! Guess he is not a flavor kind of a guy! Well...let's see about next week

Cowboy Chucks Coffee...

Chuck just made a pot of his new coffee tonight as he is off to work all night! I bought him a coffee from Jasper it is Jasper Rocky Mountain Roasters. He took a sip and his response was "it's hot, it will keep me up and thanks babe". Seriously...

My take on it as I am not going to have coffee now is he is not focused at all on the coffee! smile

Cowboy Chucks Coffee!!

Chuck was home on the weekend and was cooking up bacon on the deck! In his cup was Nabob Sumatra, medium roast. His comment "I like Susan's coffee better", so with that we ground up some other beans. Nabob seems to get a burnt taste when you mix it strong....like Chuck does!

Morning...we have a wonderful coffee mailed from Karen Sheffield all the way from Singapore!! Thank you Karen and we miss you, hope all is well & Bailey is doing alright! When you get home come on out to camp.

This exotic coffee sent from a good friend we enjoyed together this morning because Chuck worked an all nighter. It is Brazil Bourbon, roasted by Kaffa Kaldi. Chuck really enjoyed it and I actually tried it without milk and it is a smooth almost silky flavour. He thought there would be more punch with the Bourbon highlighted on the top. I told him put a bit of Bourbon in and that would be the punch of Bourbon. (I shouldn't encourage him...) He is working on his 2nd cup so it is a hit!!

Morning...here is the coffee Chuck should be having in his coffee cup this morning. But I am here in Kingman and he is at a camp by Edson somewhere...so un-sure of the coffee that is in his cup! Hopefully next week he can try it because it sure looks good. Thanks Susan!

Cowboy Chucks Coffee...

Been awhile for Chuck's coffee because of the computer crash but also he is working so much he is rarely here for coffee these days. Including this morning...he left by 5am. But I do know his coffee will be a double double Tim Horton's and I don't need to explain how good it is....mmmm. Craving one myself right now! Have a great snowy Monday everyone...

Blond moment...forgot to add the blog after I made it this morning. One of those days...

Back to Chuck's review. The coffee in Chuck's cup this morning is from Hawaii LION'S Coffee their logo is "The cup that cheers..." As the day starts, Chuck is running out the door and I pass him this coffee in his to go mug. First review..."oh hon, it tastes like soap". Terri quickly pours that one out and pours more in a normal cup. 2nd Review....smooth! I was waiting for me and he just looked at me and said "what...it's smooth better without soap, I gotta go to work." With that he was gone. smile Have a great day folks & stay warm, won't last forever were in Alberta!!!

Working on the Newsletter & the launch of our 2010 Calendar today..SUPER excited to show you the trips we have come up with. Lots to choose from 1-5 Day, but can't tell you till tommorow, can't wait to see what everyone thinks!!

Cowboy Chucks Coffee Cup!

So sorry this is late...but with moving in there was no coffee this morning as we had none! ack... have to get to the store today!

So we are adding the last picture of our trip on grass (notice). It was good ole hotel coffee in Hope B.C. in our good friend (Foss and Jeni's stomping grounds....) Chuck's comment is sometimes you have to go with what your given in the room! (he added the pinky for class as the coffee had none.) On that note last weeks wine tasting was cancelled because ummm the B.C wine broke or froze or oh okay....we drank it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chuck was not in cell service yesterday as we are driving home through the mountains. Chuck had a locally grown coffee at Seachelt last week in a local coffee house. It was called Yirgacheffe and that is all we know about it. Chucks comment was "quite a creamy flavor with a strong after taste...very nice!" It was a hit and packed a punch of caffeine so Terri suggested a shopping spree in the neat coastal town....smile.

Happy DECEMBER 1st!! I think it's officially okay to put up a tree and think about buying presents. I am very excited about this Christmas because we will be in the CABIN, how cool is that. Last year we were still in the states which was also good. smile. Brenda left on her adventure today but I can't tell you...SHE WILL! Going out of cell service...chat soon.

Cowboy Chucks Coffee Cup!

Morning! This morning in Chucks cup was West Coast Dark Roast by PC. Picked it up last night and I bought whole bean in hopes Gay had a grinder. No grinder so hammer was brought in! Chucks comment was "very strong bold flavor with no after taste." The moment he opened the bag there was a big smile on his face. This coffee I think is in the top 5 so far and its PC.

Morning everyone! Threw in a video clip of Chuck moving cows across the clearwater in October (he is riding Drifter)

In Chuck's coffee cup this morning was a coffee I picked up at the CFR. It is 100% Arabic Cafe Puro Tueste Oscuro, Dark Roast from Peru made by Tilawa Cafe. Chuck put a bit of cream in this coffee and his comment was...."smooth but a bit boring needs more kick, maybe I will make it stronger next time". I also felt the same...its a nice coffee but thought there would be more flavor.

Shortly we are headed for Cochrane to Brenda's ranch where I am going to grab ole Brenda and head out on an adventure for a couple of days. We will be stopping by to see broken Wrangler Scott, and we have no idea where we are going after that so follow along. Than my family is heading to the coast with Max the horse. We trained Max all summer and we are taking him home to Vancouver. Let the games begin and follow along....yee haw!

Morning....well Chuck had his cup this morning and I am having mine now. Hoping my stomach can handle it but it smelled soooooo good this morning when he ground the beans. Chuck received this bag of coffee bags from YA YA Susan who is pictured with Chuck in the picture.

The coffee this week is JAMAICA BLUE MOUNTAIN COFFEE Chucks comments was the flavor and how smooth a coffee it is even brewed up with the amount of coffee he puts with how little of water! She gave him a 2lb bag which is gone. My comment is to find out where Susan bought it because I also really enjoyed this coffee and got to use the coffee grinder and hammer! wahooo

Well folks, Chuck is picking up some horses right now so I will do his coffee tasting this week! Not sure what coffee he used but the first cup of camp coffee is soooooooooo yummy! Grounds, smell of smoke from the fire and all. We had our first safety meeting yesterday morning (we sit around the fire, and no one moves no one get's hurt) great way to start the day and have a meeting! Here is Chuck packing his bedroll for our trip tommorow! We are heading in 40 miles for 5 days....YEE HAW!

Chucks coffee this morning was a no name brand from Super store and his comment "man this is good coffee!" Our chef also uses this coffee in the summer and it received rave revues. Chuck is busy farming this month, putting the crop in, moving feeder cows etc... Enjoy the windy day and hold on to your hat!

Chucks coffee today was shared by all of us riders. It was from Costa Rica, medium roast and fine grind. Chuck hated the fine grind thought it was girly... He thought the smell was very strong but the taste was very smooth, he recomends it! sorry its so late...lots of riding today!

Chucks coffee this week (sorry it is late, totally my fault). My mom brought the 32 cupper and Nabob. Chuck made the coffee and the Nabob was very bitter...it was than exchanged quickly. So Nabob got the thumbs down by Chuck!

Chuck's coffee is from yesterday at the ranch roping clinic. Although it was the same coffee he had before Maxwell house dark roast. The difference was the water made the coffee way better! As Chuck and the crew finished off pot after pot. I know you all are waiting on the pics from the weekend (which by the way was soooo much fun) but my day again was full. I added one pic of Chuck roping yesterday. My folks were here and Lillian stopped by, so I had no time to blog. Tommorow is the day as I have a ton of pictures and one sore arm....night all! Spring is that you???
