Learning how...

Yay!!!! I'm back!!! My internet connection is so horrible that putting anything on the internet is painful. ... but I've upgraded so here it goes...!
Last week I had some people out from Toronto that wanted riding lessons, from ground zero!
I pulled Magik and Slim out for the job.
After going through it, here they are trying to remember how to put the saddle on.
Jeff and Ace did great riding! Ace has only ridden once in his life at a Youth Camp, and Jeff rode once when he was 6.

Magik let me know that this was definately the best part of the evening....treat time!

Having fun out west..

Our w2 branding irons have been busy this summer.

Chuck skidding in logs with Arvid and Decker.

Sprucing up Lone Horse sure is fun!

Leroy our stud is out and in the dude line this summer and everyone can't believe he is a stud. smile

Brian McRann on our High Mountain Clinic

Clinic folks galloping down Harrison flats!

Kara on Boone

Going to clear trail but Chuck forgot to fill the saw up before we packed it on Leroy!

Kara on Jessie helping us lead some horses back.

Taylor our wrangler in training with a string of her own.

We ran into a helicopter at 40 mile cabin and it was a great chance to get the horses use to it BECAUSE the STARS helicopter is coming to our Competition and Sale! I am riding Nix leading the string while Connie and Jennifer our Saddle Sore guests are riding King and Boone.

On our Saddle Sore Bogdan rode Jessie my mare who is in foal with Leroy.

The view from the top, the weather has been amazing.

The cook had a great treat for us when we got down from the top!!

The summer is going so good, the weather, the people & the horses are great! One more trip then we pack up camp and move north for the Competition weekend, hope you all have it on your calendars as we can't wait to see everyone again! giddy up...

Brenda and Scott ride PowderFace

With no end in sight to the hot days and great weather, Brenda and Scott headed up the Elbow Valley with 5 horses and spent the day climbing to an altitude that was a bit cooler!
And cooler it was...and windy! We were both holding our hats at the top. Brenda was riding Magik, while ponying Tiny and Bill the mule! Bill is super cool.

Scott was riding Ty and ponying Spud. All the horses had a great day too!
