The Budweiser Horses....beer tasting?

Sooooo, where there is horses you will find me. I spent alot of time with the budweiser horses and smelling the awesome smell of their barn. ahhhhhhhhhhhhh! They were groomed to the pin, their stalls were fancy and very clean. They were extremely well mannered and I wanted to swing a leg over one of them and head out! I found the horse named Earl was the one for me. he woke up from his nap came over to the bars and smelled me. I blew in his nose and he moved on over for a scratch, I snapped a pic of me and him! After the barn their was a beer tasting....well, um, sure....hee hee! Who is on vacation...ME!

Sea World....was AMAZING!!!!!

The grounds were fabulous! The shows were awesome and funny oh and yes you get wet from the critters! smile. Walking through all the buildings and seeing the animals was really cool! I was most amazing by the relationships between the animals and their handlers....a tear came to my eye when I watched the handler dive into the water with the killer whale and they swam together doing amazing things. We spent the entire day at Sea World and could spend another week....ack! We ended the day on a roller coaster, it was Taylor's first and not sure she would do it again! I highly recommend going...

I meet a 107 year old man!

While at the beach, my dad starts talking to this guy and his grandson. Than we are told he is 107 years old and the oldest man alive in all of Mexico, USA and Canada. He could only speak spanish and was a little deaf, but after quite a long conversation with his grandson. I realized how much this man had seen his life, all the firsts....T.V., cars, the wars ect....

When we said good bye he gave us all a big hug....it was neat.

W2 Wednesday Wine Tasting...

Our fabulous cook gives us our wine this week....I should as I am in California but I haven`t found a great one yet...ack. Rachel emailed me this great wine from her home town of New Zealand and we have tasted this great wine with Rachel.

Oyster Bay...Sauvignon Blanc it is $17.00 a bottle. It is a light crisp and fruity, easy to drink and goes well with Italian Chicken (which Rachel makes the best darn chicken). Go out and try this great wine...I am still in search of the best California wine, while I am here....night

Hitting the beach...

Welcome to California, we have been walking along the beach each night for about 3 miles, and man is it nice....it smells incrediable! Been raining a bit on and off, which makes it humid but I love it. Could be worse, could be freezing...

Hey, Mexico is so close, I have to cross....

San Diego, I am here and it doesn`t feel near to Christmas!

We stop for a play by the old west...

While at the Yuma state Prison, there was a play, it and the prison was very interesting. Love the History down here!

Yuma....

Yes, I had to add more pics of Arizona. I have been talking about Yuma for about a year now and now that I am here. LOVE the area but we might be too young.. Pictures from the top, the view on the way in, the GOAT. So we are sitting on the side of the road and this girl goes by with her goat, she let's it graze than let's it go and it takes off. k.... Next pic is of farming in Yuma, we pass a ton of workers, big trucks and very organized farming. Last pic is when we headed to the river tonight where I seen a fire and heard music. I am still missing riding..I might have to rent a horse! I have to go turn down the airconditioning now and go to bed. Talk to you tommorow...
Terri
