Today we head to set up our booth at CFR, which starts tommorow. Time flies when your having fun. Hope all of you parents have fun tricker treating, I know I will. Taylor will be a princess, I am going as a outfitter! Talk to you soon!

I have to say good bye to the mountains for 2008!

We never got everything out last night so we grabbed a room in Rocky and went out at 5:oo this morning for the last load. It was very hard to leave as the weather is incrediable out west as it is here. The sky last night was also incredible and I took some pictures. The panarama photo is our view for the last month. It was relaxing, waking up, stoking the fire, pouring some cowboy coffee (anyone who has had Chucks coffee knows what I am talking about) and stepping outside to the horses wanting hay and looking west to the view you see in the photos. So I say good bye for now to the mountains I LOVE so much.

Missing and in the truck is Sue and the kids. Had to post about the dogs and one pic of the puppy.

Horse Training Owners pick up their horses.

Tracey who owns Scooter and Catherine who owns Mr. Jones came in ride their horses who I just trained. This gives our owners the chance to try everything we just trained their horses and to see how and why we train the way we do. The pictures from the top are Tracey pulling a log, Catherine going over the bridge, Catherine peeking over the tarp strips with Tracey, the three of us in the clearwater and the 3 of us with the Seven mile sign when we went looking for strays. We have our first one a stunning marked little boy born between Reddeer and Rocky. We are headed back out with another one one its way....this is living eh! Talk to you guys soon and CFR. Only one more week left out here till we come home. We have 11 riders helping us push the cows. My owners arrive next week than off to the rodeo where I get to dress up WAHOOOO!!!! I might be a little bush crazy...smile. later Terri

Wild Deuce gives to STARS!

Here is a picture of us and Frank Turner a fellow guide and Stars rep. We want to give back and we couldn't think of a better charity becasue of where we live all summer than Stars. The horse standing behind us was General Joker McCue who was in the sale and one of my best horses. Here is a picture of me standing with Tamie Eastman who also bought Murdock. She just emailed me and told me she has been riding them both and couldn't be happier.

Wild Deuce Horse wins in Calgary!

Shadow who was bought by Christina Waltz was showing and won in Dressage, Hunter Hack and Pleasure classes. In her updated email to us she commented on how bold he was from being in the mountains and our training. Alot of people don't know that both Brenda and myself rode and competed in both Western and English and we don't shy away from a english prospect like Shadow. We are proud of them both and we love he has the W2 brand on his shoulder! She also took shadow to a cross country clinic with Rebecca Lee.

Some pictures of our October!

The pictures are of Chuck in our make shift tub, one of the horse waters. It works good and I have been soaking in it almost every day!! This is camping eh. There is a picture of the string on a long ride I took down the river. Taylor and Sean cutting and stacking wood to keep our tent warm. And Chuck with his new machete he got out of the states with Neil looking on. We are having a great month, coldest night was -16c but its been gorgeous lately and your just in your shirt during the day. Cows want to go home so they are keeping us busy riding. Last night I came home in the dark after a long ride and a bull elk was calling so I did my call and to my suprise he called back. We had quite the conversation and then he really got serious so I stopped. It was cool! The moon is SPECTACULAR these nights.....see you next time to town.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!!!!

We woke up this morning and thought we have to eat Turkey, so we drove into town to get the bird and all the fixings! Training horses are doing well and my new guy from the fabulous CLAYBOY breeding I am head over heels with. I had to bring him in so I could spoil him rotten...smile. Bad news...I forgot my camera to show you some pics. see you all next time I am in town. Here is a picture of Bren and I with our awesome webmaster Dave and Lynn Scott who also run www.northernhorse.com They came out the day after the sale and we were able to walk them through the course and have a nice chat. Wild Steer Packing was a BLAST!

Everyone from the spectators to the folks watching along the fence enjoyed this never before seen event that Terri invented! Six teams made up just before we entered, scrambled to head and heel a wild steer. Than pack them and get the steer across a line with saddle remaining on. Once across the line the steer had to be striped, everyone back on their horses and cross another line. The audience yelled for the teams to start, there was alot of laughter and good horsemanship. The teams were playing to win, a champion chair, rope, halter and the title. We are going to do this next year as well!!!! Brenda's team won!

Wild Deuce Games even on SALE DAY!!!

Well, everyone that knows us will understand even on sale day we had to ride like we always do out west! Yep, along the trail when we are sick of talking to each other out come the games. We play them on our clinics as well. Oh I did get our 2009 season figured out and will add it to the website soon.
