Temporary Camp

May long weekend - snow! This is a picture of our temporary camp waiting for our camp to dry.

Our hay arrives. Chuck and Randal hand bomb 1600 lb bales off the trailer. Oh life out here without a tractor.

Thought I would drop a line. We came out for my niece Kimmy McKinney's grad today. I will post some pics when they come back. She looked awesome! Kimmy will be taking post secondary equine massage, I am so excited for her. We hope Kimmy will involve Wild Deuce once she graduates....I have a feeling she might.

All of our May horses for training have arrived. We welcome them all into our neck of the woods and can't wait to see them in the round pen tommorow! We will update you next time we are to town.

Moving in...

Hey Everyone, Wild Deuce is back in the mountains. We picked up and left Slide Stop Stables for the winter to venture back into those beloved mountains that were calling our name! This year we hired Allan Gill to haul all 22 horses out in one truck. It went super they all loaded like a dream and travelled really well. In the picture above (l-r): Brenda, Allen Gill (on truck), his friend and Chuck (Terri is behind the camera).

Rocky Mountain House welcomed us with rain and than snow for 2 solid days. We decided to not move to camp right away and wait for the sun. It's nice to see old friends and be back. We can't wait to see you all this summer, coffee is on!
