Gracie!!

Good looking mare we have owned for three years! She was untouched when we bought her. Never touched by humans...she is a cool horse you will be able to buy this fall at our sale! She is a papered Pinto mare..very red in color and I like her! Watch for more updates on Gracie!

No coffee this Monday, Chuck was gone before I opened my Monday morning eyes...

Teeko!

Teeko's 1st RIDE was today and she did so good, very impressed with this mare. She is going to go far because she has a super personality!

We bought a CANOE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah....we bought a canoe from one of Scott's friends and can't wait to get it into Peppers Lake this summer!!

Billy, Blaze & Drifter!

Taylor is really enjoying riding Drifter and I welcome the help with riding all these horses! Drifter is really impressing me with how he takes care of her....

Of course I have to throw in a pic of Blaze aka the favorite!!

The more I work with Billy the more I like him. He is going to make someone an awesome horse. He is so kind and just wants to please, his build is the way they use to make the 1/4 horses. He is thick and a solid boy (15hh), lots of power in the snow when your riding him. I used him as my lead horse in my pack string and he was so good. I am betting early that this horse will be in the top three at the sale!!! He so far is showing me he is the full package. He will be in the guest line this year...that should speak volumes!

Gracie is doing so well, as she was pulled out of winter pasture and back into training without batting an eye!

She is such a neat horse and a looker! She will be ready to sell in the spring...if she doesn't sell watch for her in our 6th annual sale!

This is the stallion Mudd Slinging Kat his sire is Highbrow Cat! Lillian's friend Bobbie owns him and while I was visting I got to visit with him and the mares! It was an honor to meet such a caliber horse...thanks Lillian & Bobbie!

W2 Wednesday Wine Tasting...

This week we have a wine we opened during our Ya Ya Spa weekend...here is a true lady drinking tasting it out of beer mug! (Rachel is our guest wine taster) Anywho...not worth mentioning as we tried it and thought ummm, "let's let it breath". Well after an hour, then another hour, then a day...it ended up down the drain. You win some you lose some eh! Enjoy your wine tonight as I KNOW it is better than this stuff....right Rachel???

Cowboy Chucks Coffee!

Morning...we have a wonderful coffee mailed from Karen Sheffield all the way from Singapore!! Thank you Karen and we miss you, hope all is well & Bailey is doing alright! When you get home come on out to camp.

This exotic coffee sent from a good friend we enjoyed together this morning because Chuck worked an all nighter. It is Brazil Bourbon, roasted by Kaffa Kaldi. Chuck really enjoyed it and I actually tried it without milk and it is a smooth almost silky flavour. He thought there would be more punch with the Bourbon highlighted on the top. I told him put a bit of Bourbon in and that would be the punch of Bourbon. (I shouldn't encourage him...) He is working on his 2nd cup so it is a hit!!

Yep the Outfitters AGM is now over....

Happy Valentines to everyone....Happy family day to everyone....and Happy gorgeous, t-shirt riding weather!!! Time to celebrate...spring is on its way and life is good. It was great to see all the outfitters...have pics will not ad them now as it is late and I am headed to bed. Just wanted to let you know all is well in our neck of the woods, talk to you soon!

Tonight I rode with Kayla and Chuck. I rode Blaze then Billy who is in the pic...they did AWESOME!

Cowboy Chucks Coffee

Morning...here is the coffee Chuck should be having in his coffee cup this morning. But I am here in Kingman and he is at a camp by Edson somewhere...so un-sure of the coffee that is in his cup! Hopefully next week he can try it because it sure looks good. Thanks Susan!

Ya Ya spa WEEKEND!!

The theme was Hawaiian....

Of course with all ladies, food was plenty and yummy!

We also had "craft time" Rachel taught us all how to make bath bombs, sea salts & a hand scrub....

Time for the spa portion of the weekend...paraffin wax for the hands & feet. Here is Susan enjoying her spa time!

Driving North to the YA YA SPA weekend...ahhh!

So this fjord was right along the rode when the sun was setting....

The Road NORTH! Yes Dawn I drove right by...but will stop in on Monday!

The sun was setting and I kept stopping to take pics...Taylor is not learing good defensive driving when the lighting is GOOD for pics!! smile...

Washing cloths at my mom's just to feel young again...or at my age is that LOSER! hmmm might ponder that on my drive tommorow when I have to get up at 6AM>>>>>>>>anyone who knows me...knows that my right eye will not open till 8:30am so driving tomorrow might be some good times going through the city!!! I will keep you in the loop on the YA YA weekend....
