Friday evening started out with a FREE BBQ from our good friends Curty's Oilfield Services of Holden! Curt was in the field like a lot of farmers were so his good wife Christine and their 4 boys along with neighbors put on one good BBQ!We then moved on to the NEW EVENT instead of Wild Steer Packing, Bren and I created a relay race...
You had be in teams of two, start in the bed roll, get up run a lap, then get up grab you pack horse, get the saddle one the other one grabs a tarp to put on your pack horse, run a lap, let your pack horse go then chug a beer or water, recycle your bottle then your done! It turned into a hoot and have you ever tried to chug a beer out of breath...not easy! I would blog more but I am at the cow lake store heading west till NOVEMBER!! yee haw! So I will turn the blog over to Brenda to continue our weekend of the sale...have a great fall everyone!
