Cattle Chase began a day earlier then expected this year because we couldn't get trucks...but lucky our friends could come in! Here we are driving the cows right through our camp and Nix my younger stud is watching on!
Here is Blaine who was in my group watching the cows go by... my group went behind to gather any strays. Also note the three day old calf in the back ground behind Blaine. He has a few exciting days over this round up...
I was impressed how well they went by everything and didn't knock anything down!!!
So here is our 3 day old calf YA YA Susan nicknamed Veal...hitching a ride with Ken on his paint mare Lena. Mom had left Veal also named Norm by Randel!
Ken helping him across the river...
Here is my training horse becoming one with a tarp...random pic!

Ken who has now become the new mother to this calf.
So now we hit the river and the calf hitched a ride again but while Ken led the mare. I learned the my new horse doubled without any problems so Ken didn't get his feet wet!
Back leading his new baby....
The boys on the bridge...Chuck on our older Stud "Leroy", Blaine and Earl!
Nap time...

Ken jumped on our Stud "Leroy" and roped off him for the first time...he was excellent...BIG GRIN!
Loading up to head over to 7 mile flats!
We decided not to leave the calf that night and took him back to camp so the wolves or something wouldn't get him because his mother had left. Here is Blaine's horse not sure what this creature is...
