My heart soared and my soul sang when I saw this view. Last week, during the last REALLY warm day, Susan and I headed out to Wild Horse Trail in Kananaskis. What a gorgeous day! You know all those days in the summer where you couldn't wear your bikini?????...... This day made up for it!

......Unfortunately I was wearing four layers on top plus thermal underwear! You never know what the weather's going to do in the mountains.....right?! Ugghhh....! It was like a sweatshop! Not complaining though! :)

It was a perfect day for a perfect ride.

There were so many huge stud piles. We were lucky enough to catch a glimpse of one.

So warm, but still cool enough to have a small layer of ice left on the pond.

The treat at the end of this trail, and the continuation of many others, is a spectacular view of Wild Horse Canyon. We stopped to have a toast to Mother Nature! She is incredible!

The loop took us almost 3 hours to get there and just over 2 to get back. Funny how that works!

Great ride, great scenery, great friend. Thanks Susan for a wonderful day!
