Calgary Stampede 2010!

We've got two days left to go at Stampede! We've had lots of friends show up to say "Hi!" and we hope to see you down at the grounds. We're doing two shows a day at 1:30 and 3:30 PM in the Agricultural Building (the big green one south of the Saddledome). We're having a lot of fun - as usual - but missing our Terri! She was injured last week but was hoping to come down today. I'm trying to fill in for her but it just isn't the same...
Wrangler Heidi came down the other day for our annual Stampede Party, and she joined us in the demo ring on Sunday, as did Brenda's husband Guy. Thanks Heidi and Guy!

Whoever set up the demo ring put a big stack of good hay bales in the corner....guess where the horses head when we turn them loose? Free hay! Yahoo! Makes for a good laugh anyway. Ya Ya Susan and her daughter made a guest appearance yesterday as well, when they ran into the ring with a big purple suitcase for us to pack on the horse!

Heidi and Brenda's dog, Millie in the demo ring.

Brenda explains what makes a good pack horse.

We saddle up our horse!

Riding to the demo ring.

Untacking the horses at the end of a great day!
