Monday we saddled up and hit the trails out by Bragg Creek. Of course we had to pick the coldest day of the week, but when we were out of the wind and the sun was out it wasn't bad at all!
I was joined by friends Susan (aka YaYa Susan), her daughter Mckinley, Wendy and her daughter Amanda, Monique and Kyle. Here's a few pictures of the day.
The creeks were just starting to freeze over and there was a few inches of snow on the ground...Wendy gave out all the 'toe-warmers' she had for those without warm enough boots!
Amanda looks the best dressed for the weather - you can just barely see her eyes peeking out! Nice hat too!
When we got back to the trailer, Susan and her husband Shannon pulled out the bar-b-que and we roasted up some home made sausage that Wendy brought. They were fantastic! To the right, Wendy demonstrates her bar-b-queing skills while Scott is ready with, um...peanut butter and feta cheese? Don't ask....

What are sausages without peanut butter and feta .... in a word "better"! So nice of you to share your horse Belle's cravings with the rest of us!
