Setting up our Lone Horse Camp

Over a few days from the end of July and into August we headed out to Lone Horse Camp to finish setting up and get ready for all of our pack trip guests. We set up tents, our cook shack, tack room and high lines for the horses.

On the trip in, Chuck’s front springs on his wagon lasted until about 500 yards out of camp – but with the help of some friends we were able to patch it up for the ride home. We now have new springs and an awesome ride!

Terri’s parents also came along and were a great help setting up. We had a couple really hot days so we took a bit of a break and headed to the river to cool off - here Taylor relaxes in her 'hot tub' with her canine buddy.

Rachels horse, Missy checks out a snack from the kitchen.

Heading home...we head back to base camp for a couple days and greet our first pack trip guests when they arrive.
Here Taylor and Scott water their horses while a couple of Terri's horses share a joke.
