Hey Everyone...man is it warm here by Camrose. Brenda and I survived our big pack trip with snow and lots of rain! Here is a pic of it. We rode alot, read some, played the harmonica and had a great trip. We are very excited about being home, I have to admit though. I am in SHELL SHOCK!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone is driving to fast, no one is smiling and its quite different than being in the mountains. I miss them already...the night we got home we put up a wall tent and I have been sleeping outside with Taylor and my mom ever since. Although the traffic on the road sounds like its driving right by my head. Everyone that has been out there will understand where I am coming from. The thing I missed was, of course my folks, and my neighbors. But the smells of harvest and the hum of combines everywhere. Oh and of course the bath tub! We are very excited about the sale coming up and how warm it is out. I can't wait to see everyone at the sale. I want to blog every day to let you know how everything is coming along. We had a big clean up day and will start on the course very soon. Did a bit of shoeing today and the horses are loving the no mud and warm weather as well. We have been home for a couple of days and we are still riding them 10+ miles a day. Its our relaxing time of the day. Its funny though, the first ride out, they were looking at the signs in the ditch and all the local stuff. As the horse are use to elk, bear, tents ect...k...getting late at Taylor and Chuck are sleeping in their bedrolls by the fire. Talk to you tommorow! the pics are, Neil our neighbor helping us pack camp, here he is helping Brenda get her hay feeder on her trailor. The pic with all the horses is all the horses we took on our big pack trip. Here we are just leaving the rails up the clear water by 40 mile and heading home. The next pic is of the snow we got our our pack trip. The mountains reminded white after it as well. Hitting the hay...night! Terri
