W2 Wednesday Wine Tasting...

No...didn't forget this week! I found a nice red wine finally...Blackstone Winery, Merlot. Califonia 2006. I had it with dark grainy bread dipped in olive oil & balsamic vinegar. It is not the best I have ever had but its the best one I have had down here and found it quite nice. It was under $10.00 us. See you next Wednesday...there is still time to enter for the free clinic. Find the ad on the blog or send me a email to w2outftting@yahoo.ca This picture also gave me a great idea for next month's contest. Yep you guessed it, I want the best, creative picture using the original W2 logo. Like I have here with the Grand Canyon. I will explain in January for the contest, just gave you a sneak into the idea.

The Grand Canyon...takes your breath away!

Hello everyone! Yup we are still in Arizona, we are by Williams. Yesterday we were able to go see the Grand Canyon and of course had to go talk to the mule outfitter, we met his son. It is a mile ride down to Phatom ranch and would be a blast, well except for the snow and ice on a sheer bank. Never mind...would wait till the snow is gone. Today we explored Williams and toured around after dark at all the awesome Christmas lights. Here in the town of Williams, they offer train rides that take you to the North Pole and Santa! People book a year in advance for this, so as you can imagine the town is very festive. Hope your all in the Christmas spirit and all is going well and not stressed. Now with snow I am finally getting the Christmas feelings. I took some pics of the Canyon and a picture of a lite up cactus! Taylor also had fun making a snow man, but he needed a flag eh!

National Finals Rodeo...Vegas style!

The rodeo was awesome...it is so well run it's incredible. We had a lot of Canadians in there and we did very well in barrel racing and Rod hay worked hard. We watched the rodeo each night either live or on the T.V. to track how it was going. We also took in the many trade shows, and if you have never been down here. WOW! They are big and there is so much to see and buy. I have pics of us running into Jim Townsend. He was in our trade show and is a saddle maker from Okotoks. I also have a pic of Scott looking at a photo booth...I left in awe! I recommend it highly. talk to you tommorow as I have to tell you about the Grand Canyon. We are currently snowed in, in Arizona on our way home! night all...its very late and the time change is going to get me!
Terri

Vegas Part #2...oh and I survived! yee haw

From the top, we meet new friends from Walt from Calgary and Diane from US. Next, Chuck is trying to break a camel...and Chuck what is with the purse??? smile. I had fun, and was so glad Scott came down. It was nice to hang out with someone who knows you. He also brought a crew with him and well...we did Vegas right!!! Ya Ya!

Vegas Part #1....it was fun!

Okay...I have been away from the computer because well....I am in Vegas. Now I have the pics, let me tell you about the trip in two sets of pics! From the top 1, me with Vegas PD (they were very nice), 2 pic, is of Scott (next years wrangler) and myself (hi Scott!) 3rd pic, Chuck looses at the penny machines, pic 4...Terri WINS $10.34, YEE HAW!, and the last picture of all the cowboys, okay we catch the bus and one young guy from Texas notices Chucks pants in his boots & the "eh" and tells his buddies. Well we all end getting off at the bus at the same time and he tells Chuck, "look's like you are telling the world, who cares with the pants thing?". Well they all ended up doing it walking down the strip and as Chuck looks on and I have to take a pic...notice Scott in there! better go, I have more pics.
