Ya Ya Susan's Birthday

Happy Birthday to Susan! I joined YaYa Susan last night to celebrate her birthday with friends and family. Susan took the opportunity to sign the new cast on my arm too!

The night turned really bad...roads were horrible and the moon hide. We decided to hold up in Valemont....went for supper and stayed the night, in a hotel with a cold pool but with a view!

A Knight's Tale...

Last night the family went for dinner. The menu...? Baby Dragon and Unicorn Horn. No vegetables tonight!

Terri's home, I'm off...!

Yeah! We're off to Disneyland! Sorry to say, my fellow Canadian friends, but we left just in time.....-15 and 3 inches of snow the day before we left. Hate to rub it in but..... sure is nice down here!

So, remember when Terri and I went to Banff and we called for a bellhop everytime we had to move our stuff? Well....I found a really cute one! He even told me he loved me...

That was before he had to lift my bag! :(

The rest of the family got there a couple hours before we did and they already got into mischief! Seems they have a hat for everything here at Disney. Yes, we did have to wear them the entire day or else risk being taken out by my neices! Notice the t-shirt that Guy swore he'd never wear! tee hee!

How can one not turn into a kid? I'll gladly leave today behind and see what mysteries I can find....! I'll keep you posted.....

This one's for the girls....

Last year we had a first ever all Ladies Explorer Retreat, this was a 5 day retreat instead of our normal 3. We rode the 20 miles into our high camp "Lone Horse Camp" and from there the retreat turned into an amazing adventure. We seen that ladies are up for 5 days in the back country!

Cowboy Chucks Coffee Cup!

Chuck was not in cell service yesterday as we are driving home through the mountains. Chuck had a locally grown coffee at Seachelt last week in a local coffee house. It was called Yirgacheffe and that is all we know about it. Chucks comment was "quite a creamy flavor with a strong after taste...very nice!" It was a hit and packed a punch of caffeine so Terri suggested a shopping spree in the neat coastal town....smile.

Happy DECEMBER 1st!! I think it's officially okay to put up a tree and think about buying presents. I am very excited about this Christmas because we will be in the CABIN, how cool is that. Last year we were still in the states which was also good. smile. Brenda left on her adventure today but I can't tell you...SHE WILL! Going out of cell service...chat soon.
