Good bye San Diego...hello Disneyland!
We enjoyed the beach one last day and headed to L.A. tonight. Can I mention I hate the traffic down here, most of the time I just go to my happy place. smile. I took a few pics on the beach before I left and we loaded up and headed out. I am now sitting in a very nice R.V. park in Orange county doing the blog. Oh...I am sitting outside in a short sleeve shirt and capri's. I am looking at Palm tree's around a pool with Christmas lights everywhere! I better hit the hay, busy day tommorow in Disneyland. I did enjoy San Diego thought and hated to leave.

W2 Wednesday Wine Tasting...
Well...we went out to a fantastic restaurant tonight right on the ocean! The food was fantastic, we all had fish and wow! I had Pacific Red Snapper Ranchero. But for the wine, we bought a bottle of red wine from Chile and is was yeasty and not a lot of flavor. I did open a bottle last night, Barefoot Merlot from California. Rachel our Chef bought some of this brand last summer and it was quite nice but I am not sure I would buy the Merlot again. So far the California wine sucks...Margarita's good. night all
Inside the USS Midway an aircraft carrier used from WW1 to Desert Storm!
Today was awesome, we stepped foot on this amazing ship and learned all about life in the NAVY! Over 4500 folks live on a ship like the one we walked around today and we seen everything from the tight quarters of the unlisted men to the where the Admiral makes all his major decisions in war time. Not only did we see the ship but we seen all the planes on deck as well. There is a ton of NAVY here in San Diego, we were on tour with a guy who just got back from IRAQ. You go on deck of this ship and look across the water to the ships who just docked that are in active duty. It was very interesting for this country girl...along the tour they had the noises and the smells...very neat. Scott you would of love this one...I have alot of extra pics of the planes for you!!!!
Let me show you Seaport Village!
The first picture is of eagle statue, it was stunning. Next pic is of all the boats in the dock. The next is the huge pointsetta tree as it is the season! smile
The horse is apart of the merry go round Taylor went on. It is over a 100 years old and it was stunning. The whole village was stunning and well kept, I highly recommend it if your down here.
