2nd Three Day Clinic
Boy, the clinics just keep getting better! I got back last night from attending another clinic at camp and everyone had a great time! This was my 3rd clinic this year! (I know what you're thinking....!!!!, I just have such a great time!) 2 days of intense learning and again, it all came together when we put it to practice on the trail. The Wild Deuce horses were superb as usual, taking riders from all levels safely out and back again. The bring your own riders were truly impressed with what they achieved. Someone, who's name I won't mention, was so excited to ride her horse today, she got up a 6:00 a.m.!!!! Now that's excited and I can report her trail ride went off without a hitch, putting into practice what they learned at the clinic!! 6 more days and back I go for a pack trip. There are still some spots left in the Aug. 28 - 30 trip and it has been changed to a Co-ed trip. The next clinic will be held Aug. 20 & 21, focusing more on young (3 years) and up as well as any problem horses you might have. Book soon, cause word is getting out just how great these ladies are. Posters for the "Working Mountain Horse Competition & Select Sale" are now ready, anyone who could put a few up would be appreciated, email me at lmaughans@gmail.com or call me at 780-963-4993 and I'll send them out by mail.

3 Day Clinic Completed with Flying Colours
A 3 Day Clinic held July 13 - 15 was completed with rave reviews from the participants. Terri and Brenda showed participants how to have a thinking partnership with our horses. The words can't and won't are not in our vocabulary any more. People who have never been on a trip with Terri and Brenda are now looking forward to many more. Camp was good and the weatherman cooperated, Chuck & Arvid provided some humour and the Border Collies joined us on the trail ride, doing just what they love to do, running and exploring! The next scheduled clinic is July 28, 29 & 30. See you there!

V.I.P. Pack Trip was AWESOME!
I just got off the phone with Terri & Brenda. They just got back from the V.I.P. Pack Trip and it was a huge success. They spent the last few days with some very special people. One of the guests, Karen, is a Vet. and treated everyone to 2 hr talk about horses! Everyone had a great time and in fact they are going to book a reunion trip for next year! Nothing beats great people and great horses spending time in the mountains together. Can't wait to see the pictures.

Owners Come In
This weekend the Training Horse Owners come in to pick up their horses, Terri and Brenda are looking forward to seeing them. The horses have spent 60 days with Brenda and Terri and each are ready to show off what they've learned at Camp. It's a weekend where they'll develop a new relationship. Let's hope we get a little break in this heat spell so everyone will be comfortable. There are still a couple of spots open for the July clinics, but don't hesitate, they'll soon be full. If you haven't booked on a pack trip, now's the time to do that too.
